I happen to like little things. Just because something is little does not take away from the impact it can have. Look at David and Goliath. We can have a "Big" church and not have the energy and commitment that this "Little " church has. We have people with big hearts and big ideas and that is what will propel us to fulfill our vision. My story is "The Little Church That Could"

Yes! the power, feeling and impact of a little church works for me! As a matter of fact, being little is pretty close to home for me so I agree - "The Little Church That Could"! Love it and you!

Worrying is praying for something that you don't want.
Stop worrying!
It is what it is and this too shall pass.

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary?
Think before you speak.

Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.

Such a great Morning at church welcoming 6 new members, beautiful music by our talented Leslie and as always, an inspiring talk by Rev Gay. Gratitude is in the Attitude - which will you choose?

LOVED Rev Gay's talk and vision of walking linked, arm in arm with God. He is always with us we just need to make a conscious choice to walk with him!

How true! That vision came just as I awoke. I love those moments of openness to Divine inspiration!

"Lord make me an instrument of thy peace. Where there is hatred let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy. O Devine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, To be understood as to understand, To be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive; It is in pardoning that we are pardoned; It is in dying to self that we are born to eternal life."

Just got home from singing Christmas carols at The Alpine View Lodge. What a treat to have James Higgins join us. This is one event that you cannot attend and not have your heart break wide open. I dont know who gets more out of it the residents or those of us who go to sing. It is definitely a win win. It is Christmas magic. Thank you Mother Father God.

Hi Gay.....been a "few years"! I knew you had a church in Alpine, but Divine intervention, 2 weeks ago, caused me to really look at your FB page, when I was looking at Jolie's page.

Even though, I still like attending a Catholic Mass ( that "stirs my soul") the philosophy of Religious Science (didn't know there was a name to what I feel) is very interesting and I thank you for your joyful weekly messages.....Namaste
